Did You Run Today?

OK, first why doesn't anybody comment on my posts?

I did not run today. Instead I went to Nurnburg to the Christmas Market. It was great and I know all of you that have left Germany miss all the sights, smells and tastes of Christmas in Bavaria. Tomorrow we need to do a quick trip to Vilseck for reading material for the Spain trip and then I am entertaining the neighborhood for the eve of Christmas Eve. I don't think I will get any miles in. I am good for the week, but with the holiday and traveling, I don't how I can stay on track this next week. This may be one of those times that I have to give in. If the weather holds, I can probably get a run in Sunday since we won't go to church until evening.

Aura - By all means...I think we will all take support where we can find it. You know how much I think of Jenna. I love the diversity of our group and it is nice to have different perspectives. If they would like to be able to post, just introduce them to us and send me their email so that I can add them to the contributors list.

By the way, my shins are better, but I am really struggling with my ankles. This is new for me. Any ideas? I love that picture of all of us. Who posted it?

I hope you had some Gluhwein for me! Man, I miss that stuff.

I'd like to invite my SIL, Cathy, to join. She is going to run the Army 10 miler with me too (that is if I can ever make it further than 2 miles!). I lean on her for lots of support and advice. I know she could contribute quite a lot for our group. I'll let her post about her own running adventures..past and present.

We are full of Gluhwein and Liebkuchen for tonight. There is nothing quite like the smell of Bratwurts, fresh cut greens and cinnamon.

E said...: Oh how I wish I had some gluehwein. Or even some kinderwein. I don't even need the alcohol. I never thought I'd miss Germany after only being gone 18 months, but what I wouldn't give to go to the Villa or Steak on a Stone.
