I finally got my car today after almost 7 weeks! I spent the better part of my day organizing my calendar with my family's activities. It is very difficult to find a way to fit my runs in. I thought it would be easier once we were back to 2 cars, but now the soccer schedule has ballooned and Ian has 2 weeks of Driver's Ed to do. I guess if it were easy, everyone would do it. Perseverance...
Distance: none...off day.

Sounds like me! I've spent hours putting our calendar together, signing the kids up for all their activities, and signing myself up for "continuing (Army) education", as I'll call it!
A. starts school next week and M. starts in Sept, so I know it will get better then. Also, the out-laws (ha!) are visiting, and 4 more family members are coming tomorrow. A total of 10 people in this house--ugh! I guess everybody's making up for the 2 years they didn't want to make the trek to Louisiana!
I only did 2 miles today, but I'm easing back into it. Last week I decided to switch to the beginner training schedule since I knew I wouldn't be able to start the intermediate on time. Plus, I'm not racing this and not worried about time, so I just need to increase my distance. If I get bored, I'll substitute some speedwork for the short runs.
Now I just need to buy some plane tickets!
