Okay...I swear I don't snore...stop booking separate rooms and someone come be my roomate! Y'all are gonna give me a complex! Either that or make me cry. Sniff. Sniff.

Hey Cathy, I will be in NYC in June (14-17), maybe we could hook-up and go for a run or two. But, keep in mind, I am S..L..O..W. I am working with a trainer starting tomorrow specifically for running, so there is hope that I may improve in the next few months.

Christy,
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe I should cancel my room. Patti needs a single, Cathy and Angie are in a room and that leaves me, you and hopefully E. Our friend Shelley will be living in Alexandria by then. I know that she is registered, but I don't know if she is planning on staying at the hotel with us. So, either my room or yours should be enough.

Cathy, the last time I did this, we really enjoyed the pasta dinner. It wasn't that the food was the best, it was the excitement and energy. All of the elites are there. They put freebies on the tables for all the runners. Everyone is dressed in their matching team uniforms. Yes, there are a lot of single soldiers attending the dinner and staying in the hotel (the pool/hot tub attracted them as well). The CSM of the Army is the speaker and it is very Hooah. In addition, it is easy since it is in the hotel and ends fairly early so that everyone gets a good night sleep before the race. They do a good job of getting you pumped up and proud of the biggest road race in the US.

I just signed up for the pasta dinner. And, Christy, yes - let's run in June!! I'm making a note on my calendar. Have you been to NYC before? Do you need any help planning? Let me know! And, good luck with the trainer. Cathy

Cathy, Angie has my e-mail address if you want to get it from her. I will attempt to get yours also and we'll chat. Right now I am looking for a hotel room close to "stuff", but I will e-mail you with more details in the near future. Yeah!
