Monday is a big day! It is the first day that we can register for the Army Ten Miler. We have several things to discuss -
1. Do we want to register as individuals?
2. Do we want to register as a team?
3. We can decide to register as individuals and still wear something that unites us.
4. When we register, we can purchase tickets to the pre-race pasta party (they have to be purchased in advance. I went to this the year I ran, so we can talk about it if you want.
5. We can opt to stay in the race HHQ hotel, Crystal Gateway Marriot. I made this choice when my last group came together to run. It was well done, with lots of energy. There is a great indoor pool and hot tub. The greatest advantage is the Metro is located under the hotel and goes directly to the race location (for free that morning). The Expo (with number pick-up) is located here as well. If you are interested, we need to talk about this choice pretty fast because this hotel books up quickly.
I am getting excited about returning to the States and spending a weekend with you guys. Are you ready to commit?
