Tanner (8) did his first 5K race this past Saturday. I am so proud of him. He had one brief stop at the top of a very big hill. Nonetheless, he placed 2nd in the under 18 boys with a time of 25:38! He was quite sore the next day and so far he is not planning his next race strategy, but I know he will eventually see the glory in the pain.

Too cute! He had to be proud: an 8 year old competing with teenagers!
WOW!!! I'm sure he could beat me! What a great accomplishment! Way to go, Tanner!
