They announced the lottery results for the half marathon on Aug 5, and, unfortunately, I was not selected. I have to tell you: I'm down about it!! My dear friend Sue was picked - so, I think I'll train with her just for the heck of it. But, I'm bummed I don't get to do it with her....
Oh well.
I've been pretty lucky lately - so, need to focus on all the good in my life and accept this as just a little disappointment, in the scheme of things. At least I didn't have to hop over any snakes today as I walked to work....

How about a different 1/2 Marathon? I found one for you in the Hamptons in September.
