V -congrats on anther great race, maybe some day I will be up to running a 10K or longer. As for now I am happy with my 3 mile runs (will be trying for 5 on Saturday when the kid is in daycare).
I have been running more, of course with a kid since hubby is deployed. I must share my new love. Stroll Smart, a hands free running devise that attaches to the stroller and you push with your stomach.
From what I read you either will love it or hate it, I just got mine and love it and once I get used to it I think I will like it even more. It takes a little getting used to steering with your mid-section, but having my hands free is worth it. I thought that maybe the dirt trails would be too bumpy for it, but it works just fine. My only complaint is that the belt's hot, not a problem this time of year, but not sure about mid July.
It is currently cheapest on HappyMothers.com, with S&H it comes to $48... well worth the money.

I've heard great things about this too and have considered getting it. I won't be able to use a jogger until next May though so I have some time to hear how you do with it!
I'll have to get one because I hate not being able to use both of my hands. What kind of jogging stroller do you have?
I have a Bob Ironman but I think it will work on almost any jogging stroller.
I just got the go-ahead from my doctor (this week) to start working out again with no stipulations. Yeah!!! I have been jonesing for a run. I will just have to be careful not to get down on myself because I am starting over and might not be able to make it very far. Anyhow, I will definately be trying this device out, because one of my concerns has been how to run without my arms while pushing a stroller. Thanks for finding it Rachel!
