He ran a 23:50 and placed 2nd in boys 14 and under. Ian beat us both with a sub 21, but his age group is competitive at 17 minutes. I ran with Beast to pace him and still placed 2nd in my age group. Pete is the only smart one among us who runs at a pace to enjoy himself. He was just minutes behind us.
This may not be the best photo of all of us, but I tell you I am thrilled to have it. With Ian off to college next year (and he really doesn't enjoy racing), this may be the only family race photo we get. BTW, Santa hats were encouraged. Tanner and I plan to run this race again next year by ourselves.
